1. Sam Sparro

I didn’t love “Can’t Stop This!” as much as “Black & Gold” until I discovered that there is a second part to this track. After an (unnecessary) 3 minute pause, around 8:12, Sam’s delicious voice oozes through the speakers and sexes your ears. Oh my gawd, when I hear a clip like this, I remember why I love music so much. The lyrics are silly but that’s not the point. It’s just the combination of the raw texture of his voice and the bare piano playing. So skip to 8:12 and have a listen… and a second… and a third. It’s soooo good.

I’m so sad he’s gay because there goes any prospect of us together. Sigh.

That’s not Chris Brown!

“Don’t Stop The Music” was my favorite song on Rihanna’s “Good Girl Gone Bad.” Yes, “Umbrella” is catchy and fun but there is something mesmerizing about the beat in DSTM. Here’s an unusual remix of it to revive your love of this over-played song. Still good!

Most of the fun of GT’s music is recognizing songs. Not my favorite track off the new album “Feed the Animals” (I like “Play your part Pt 2″ best) but it goes with my mood today.
